Terms of Service

By registering for or using the Taplet platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

If you are using Taplet on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Taplet is a platform that connects business founders and entrepreneurs ("Founders") with qualified service providers ("Providers") across disciplines including software development, design, marketing, finance, and operations.

Taplet acts as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any service agreement formed between Founders and Providers. We facilitate the connection and provide tools for collaboration, but the ultimate responsibility for service delivery rests with the Provider.

To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

•Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

•Maintain the security of your account credentials

•Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account

•Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You may not share your account credentials with any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

As a Founder using Taplet, you agree to:

•Provide clear, accurate project descriptions and requirements

•Communicate respectfully with Providers

•Make timely payments as agreed upon for services rendered

•Provide honest feedback and reviews

•Not attempt to circumvent the platform to hire Providers outside of Taplet during an active engagement

Taplet reserves the right to remove any project request that violates our content guidelines or applicable laws.

As a Provider offering services through Taplet, you agree to:

•Represent your skills and experience accurately in your profile

•Deliver services to the standard agreed upon with the Founder

•Maintain professional conduct in all communications

•Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to your services

•Not solicit Founders to work outside the Taplet platform during an active project

Taplet reserves the right to remove any Provider who violates these Terms or our community standards.

Taplet charges service fees for successful engagements facilitated through the platform. By using Taplet, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described in our pricing documentation.

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Taplet is not responsible for any errors by payment processors. Refund policies are governed by our separate Refund Policy and the specific terms agreed upon between Founders and Providers.

All content on the Taplet platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Taplet or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Work product created by Providers for Founders is subject to the intellectual property terms agreed upon between the parties. Taplet claims no ownership over deliverables created through engagements on the platform.

You may not use Taplet to:

•Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content

•Engage in any unlawful activity

•Harass, abuse, or harm other users

•Distribute malware or harmful code

•Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform

•Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform

•Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the platform

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taplet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

•Your use or inability to use the service

•Any conduct or content of any third party on the service

•Any content obtained from the service

•Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Taplet's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Taplet in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Taplet at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, the platform, third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at taplet.team@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Taplet shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration body in Kerala, India.

You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Kochi, Kerala, India for the resolution of any disputes.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notifying you by email. Your continued use of Taplet after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
